Casillas 6 - Did what he had to do, which in all honesty was not much more than stop a few efforts from the training ground.
Sergio Ramos 7.5 - Took his goal well and showed some very good touches, but he did not push forward as much as he would have liked.
Pepe 8 - Strong, quick and commanding, the Brazil-born Portuguese international produced an impressive display at the back for Madrid.
Cannavaro 8 - Very strong as he won his duel with Webó to deny the Cameroonian striker any chances of note at Iker Casillas's goal.
Heinze 7.5 - More scure and reliable than Marcelo, the Argentinian assumed his responsibilities and looked strong on the left.
Gago 7.5 - Improved a great deal in the second half and his defending was outstanding while his creative side came out for the third goal.
Diarrá 8.5 - An outstanding display in front of the back four alongside Gago, as he continues to show why he is considered to be the new Claude Makélélé.
Robben 8 - Took his early goal well and could have had two more after being set free in the second period before being substituted for young Palanca.
Sneijder 7 - The Dutchman was not involved anywhere near as much as he may have liked to have been and will be asked to produce more.
Raúl 7 - The Real Madrid captain worked hard in his 500th league appearance for the club and will have been pleased to cap the landmark with a goal.
Higuaín 8.5 - Set up the two goals in the first half and worked back in what was a very good display and he may feel aggrieved to have been taken off.
Subs
Van der Vaart 6 - Did not have much time to make an impression and will be hoping to be able to have more in the next few games.
Palanca 6 - Also did not do much when coming on even though he showed some confident touches and helped ensure Madrid were not troubled.
Huntelaar 6.5 - Had a shot that could have added to the visitors' scoreline, but by the time he came on the game was already won."
